How to tell us about a copyright problem, and how to respond to one.

Copyright notices
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to minedroid30@gmail.com.
We haven't registered a designated agent with the US Copyright Office yet. Registration at copyright.gov is pending.
What a notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The material you say infringes it, and where it is on this site, in enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the owner or authorized to act for them.
Counter-notices
If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified.
- Your name, address and phone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the US, any district where Ascend can be found), and that you'll accept service from the person who sent the notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the account of anyone who gets 2 valid copyright complaints. The owner of Ascend decides whether a complaint is valid.
False claims
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).
